I don't know what room you're putting the tile in but watch out for the kitchen. When glass hits tile it shatters far and wide. We put tile in a bathroom on a wooden subfloor. Then we had a slow leak in the wall from the shower head. By the time we found the source of the leak the floor boards had swollen and lifted the tile causing a terrible mess. I've since learned (the hard way) that cement board should be installed as a subfloor to avoid that type of problem. I've tiled my two other bathrooms, diningroom and foyer with out any problems. If you're going to tile start saving that thin cardbaord that comes with paper stock. It makes great template material for those odd corner/moulding cuts. We didn't have any problems with re placing the toilet. We ripped out the old seal, tiled so that the toilet would sit on the tiles, put in a new seal and the toilet dropped back into place easily. Right now I'm taking a break from putting in an armstrong wood laminate in the kitchen. I've just ripped up the subfloor and will putting in a new one this weekend. if anyone has any tips on installing these floor please let me know.
