Common household dirt is staining our new Shaw Decades laminate flooring, and cannot be removed.We have tried everything including acetetone, mineral spirits, Goof Off, Oops, vinegar, ammonia, etc etc. The dirt seems to bond to the floor surface. The floor design is "Natural Textures-Canyon Mist #540." The Shaw factory rep just inspected our floor and is as puzzled as we are. He is checking with the Shaw technical dept as to what to do. The thought of pulling up this floor and installing a new one is painful. It's an all-day job, and involves moving all our appliances from the kitchen into the hall. We'd like to get a full refund, and eventually replace the floor with another brand within a few years, when the dirt stains get bad enough.
