The Quick-Step Perspective line is very nice looking. However, because of the beveled edge, Quick-Step does not recommend it in water-prone areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms, and does not provide a water warranty for it. Some people don't think water is a big deal in the areas you mentioned, as opposed to a humid area like a full bath, and that the water warranties are iffy anyway. Small water spills probably wouldn't be a proble. However, what about toilet overflows and broken water hoses? What kinds of damage could they do? Do some research on the warranties and ask lots of questions.
