: : I'd be very cautious of going into a basement of an old home (esp one w/ cracks in the floor) w/ an epoxy floor. Moisture will blow it off the substrate easily within a year! Moisture tests would need to be done thruout the course of a year, to document for the owner that as the spring rains come, a summer t'shower, or condensation in the summer /winter (warm air against the cool slab) that H2O vapor will not migrate up thru the substrate to atmosphere.
: : Also, the usage of the area should be considered, perhaps a less expensive flooring could be used more successfully; solid vinyl tiles (see Roppe Corp or FORBO), vinyl plank wood look (see Toli Corp), vct (see anyone), or even carpet tiles or broadloom. For self leveling, and patching of the cracks, check out either Mapei or Ardex links. Some have found success in pouring Mapei Ultra Plan and painting the finish w/ an epoxy paint for an excellent wear surface...once the floor is certain to be dry thru-out the year.
